1. Our approach

Accessibility is treated as part of building the site rather than something added afterwards. We aim to follow recognised accessibility best practices and we continue improving the site where issues are identified.

2. What we pay attention to

• Keyboard navigation — interactive controls can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the dialog traps and restores focus appropriately.
• Visible focus indicators — the element you are on is visually identifiable when navigating by keyboard.
• Semantic structure — real headings, landmarks, lists and buttons, in a logical order, so assistive technology can convey the page correctly.
• Readable typography — comfortable text sizes and line lengths that scale with the browser's own text-size settings.
• Colour contrast — text is set against the dark background with contrast in mind, and colour is not used as the only way to convey meaning.
• Meaningful alternative text — images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Labelled form fields — every field has a real, associated label, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone.
• Touch target sizing — small controls are given a comfortable tap area on phones.
• Reduced motion — animation is reduced or removed when your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
• Responsive layouts — the site reflows for small screens and zoomed views without horizontal scrolling.

3. Standards

We aim to follow recognised accessibility best practices, including the principles set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

This website has not undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we do not claim conformance with a specific WCAG level. We would rather tell you exactly where we stand than claim a certification we have not earned.

4. Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work. Some content may not yet be fully optimised, and third-party content or platforms we do not control may not meet the same standards. If you come across something that does not work well for you, please tell us — reports are the fastest way for us to find and fix real problems.
